SCTCC To Host Express Enrollment For Upcoming School Year

ST. CLOUD -- Students preparing for college in the fall can get a head start on their enrollment starting Wednesday.

St. Cloud Technical and Community College is hosting an Express Enrollment event to provide students the ability to walk in, apply and enroll for classes all in one day.

Rocky Horn is a Recruitment and Retention Specialist for SCTCC. He says by registering early, students can gain the full college experience the first day of class.

"We want to make sure students are ready to roll for classes August 21st. If we start early we can get through this process and by the time they start classes we can make sure all loose ends are tied up."

All students wanting to enroll must have a high school diploma and walk ins are welcomed.

Horn says they offer programs for all types of students and staff will make sure you have everything you need before you walk out the door.

"Students will be applying with an admissions advisor, taking the Accuplacer test, meeting with an academic advisor, get their class schedule and show them where each of their classes are."

The Express Enrollment runs from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. You're asked to enter through the main entrance (Door 1) and park in Lot C.

St. Cloud Technical and Community College currently has a 98% job placement rate.
