Sober and Want A Nice Dinner with a Drink- This is for You
This is pretty awesome. Let's say you are sober for health reasons, you just don't drink or you are in recovery... any of these things are acceptable for these Sunday Sober Suppers.
Sometimes you are in a situation where you are at some sort of a nice dinner... even a sort of fancy dinner, and everyone is either drinking wine or some other alcoholic concoction. You may feel not part of the group if you are living a sober life. And you may want to feel a bit more included. This is where this great program started. These drinks let you feel like part of the group, they are made just like a regular cocktail, they have mixers, and even suggested pairings with certain dishes.
Here is the concept, which begins on September 22nd.
...in partnership with our local restaurant colleagues. This collaboratively prepared, four-course family style dinner experience will be accompanied with N/A beverage pairings. We are thrilled to welcome our neighbor and friends, Nightingale and Chef/Owner Carrie McCabe-Johnston, along with her son, Jakob who will be preparing non-alcoholic beverages in conjunction with the Lynhall Lady Chefs and Lynhall Bar Team.
The FOUR course dinner will include:
Mussels, Clams, Smoked Tomato Hairless Dog IPA Broth, Bread
White Beans, Chorizo, Celery Sofrito
End Of Harvest Vegetables with Gem & Butter Lettuce
Braised Beef with Charred Onions, Pureed Parsnips, Roasted Squash with Pumpkin Seed Romesco, Brussels Sprouts with Pickled Red Onions
“Night” Pie with Ice Cream
And the cost for this is just $65 per person. I think it's very reasonably priced. The location is in Minneapolis- click for the address and more information.
