Small Minnesota Businesses Suing President Over Tariffs
There has been a lot of talk over the tariffs that have been proposed and some implemented since President Trump has been elected.

President Trump has said that these tariffs are reciprocal, meaning that these other countries are already charging the United States a tariff, so why wouldn't/shouldn't the United States do the same thing to them?
That makes sense when you think about it, but there is another issue.
There have been some price hikes, and more anticipated price hikes along with some manufacturers and distribution companies saything that they will not be able to send merchandise to the United States until the tariff/trade war is over.
This has been something that many businesses have been concered with, but mostly the small businesses. And specifically the toy business. Reason why it's affecting the toy industry so much? It's because most or all of their merchandise comes from China. And there was, and I say was because there has been a new development, a proposed 145% tariff on imports from China.
Because of this tariff, Mischief Toy Store, a toy store in St. Paul is joining some other small businesses around the state and country suing President Trump.
From KARE 11:
Some of their vendors have said that they are not planning on shipping anything leading up to the holiday shopping season because of the tariffs.
Just this morning, it has been announced that the United States has come to a deal with China over the tariff trade war.
From NPR:
With this new development, will that ease the lawsuit? We need to wait and see since this is for just 90 days. The talks will continue and hopefully come up with a mutually beneficial agreement.
