John Mayall, one of the most prolific blues artists to date, the man had an  unerring ear for talent.

John new talent and proved it over the years how he assembled his bands. He chose some of the greatest musicians over the 60's era from the U.K.

A lot of that talent had very successful careers thanks to Mayall.

Even after leaving Mayall, there's, no doubt; their collaborations with him remain among the high points of their careers.

We'll cover some of these greats to come,i.e. Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood just to name a few.

John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, with Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones) on lead guitar, John McVie (Fleetwood Mac) on bass, and Colin Allen (of Rod Stewart's band) on drums, paid homage to and were joined by five blues immortals: Albert King, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, and the 83-year-old Sippie Wallace.
