The Three Most Popular Alcoholic Drinks In Minnesota
In my three years living here, I’ve learned a few things about Minnesotan culture – hockey is life, the Packers are our mortal enemies, and boy oh boy, do we like to drink.
Now, personally I’m not a big sports fan, but I’ll never turn down a stiff drink. I’m literally recovering from a long night of wine drinking as I write this – just so you know I take this seriously. Today we’re going to take a look at the most popular drinks in Minnesota.
- Budweiser
Yeah, yeah. Big surprise here. I’ve never been a huge fan of this beer to be completely honest. I far prefer the sweet, supple taste of Guinness. But whatever.
- Todd The Axeman
I was actually a little surprised to see this on the list. I didn’t realize it was that popular. This is a light, malty IPA made by Surly. I’ve had this bad boy on a few occasions myself, and I can tell you from first hand experience that it's worth getting.
- Bloody Mary’s
As a huge fan of Bloody Mary’s, this makes me happy. There’s nothing quite like kicking off a Saturday morning with your buddies than with a spicy Bloody Mary. Good choice Minnesota!
