There’s Just ONE Thing I’ll Miss About Winter This Year

I'm a Minnesota-born girl, who moved to Kentucky back in the '90s. I found my way back home in 2013, and have managed to get by for almost 10 years without my own pair of winter boots.

There's a reason for that! Nice winter boots are a bit expensive, and I had to make sure my sons had their nice winter boots first. Heck, If I need to shovel snow around the house, I'll just borrow the boy's boots. Yeah...they're too big, but for around the house, it works. However, this year, I had an opportunity to attend some great outdoor venues, and borrowing my son's winter boots just wasn't going to work.

When I had the opportunity to go to the NHL Winter Classic Hockey Game this year, I had to take it. However; it was going to be so cold that I dared not go to that game unprepared. I went out to Scheel's and bought some super warm snow pants, a jacket, hat, gloves, and a pair of BOGS boots.

I was glad I went in and talked to someone about getting winter boots because they were incredibly knowledgeable about the warmth comfort rate. (I didn't know that was a thing). My feet tend to be cold all the time, so they sent me home with BOGS. a faux fur lined boot, that had a comfort rating of -58 F.
