Things Overheard at Anton’s During Flood

It must have been quite a surprise at Anton's Saturday night as flood waters from the Sauk River came rushing in. I can't imagine sitting and enjoying a great dinner, when all of a sudden the place starts filling up with water.

This is all in good fun. Anton's is my favorite restaurant in the St Cloud area and it's unfortunate this happened. The great people at Anton's along with the fire departments from Waite Park, St Cloud and Sartell handled things nicely.

Here are some things overheard at Anton's Saturday night:

Hey wader!

Can I get some water?

Do these popovers work as floaties?

I think I'll order fish. That one (pointing down)

Dam it

Just put your dishes in the bus tub when it floats by
