- Eddie Van Halen is such a straight up guy, and he is sharing his love for music with children. Eddie just donated 75 guitars from his personal collection to the nonprofit Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, which is giving them away to low-income public schools.
- David Bowie's hometown is planning a very special monument to be built in his honor. If the crowdfunded project goes through, Brixton could have a new and huge lightning bolt nicknamed the "ZiggyZag". However, organizers need $1.2 million dollars to make this happen.
- Bruce Springsteen made one Australian teen’s dreams come true – TWICE! On February 16th, Bruce invited Nathan Testa on stage after seeing that he made a sign saying he skipped school to go to the show, and would like to play “Growin’ Up” with Bruce on stage. So what does Bruce do? Invites him up. Apparently though, this isn’t the first time Nathan has been on stage with Bruce – he was once invited up when Nathan was 11!
- Over the weekend we had a huge Beatles reunion! Paul McCartney joined Ringo Starr to help lay some bass tracks down on Starr’s new upcoming LP. Who also joined the party for good measure? Joe Walsh!
