  • Attention Cheap Trick fans! The legendary rockers have confirmed the rumors of a new studio album, and we don't have to wait forever to get our hands on it. Cheap Trick took to Twitter to announce the new, so far untitled album that's coming to us at the beginning of summer.
  • Ratt's Bobby Blotzer has lost in court in trying to win trademark rights to the band's name. The judge has sided with the other three surviving members, after Blotzer had asked for reconsideration. This all comes just in time, as the band is scheduled to play at Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch this Saturday.
  • Black Sabbath played their last ever show over the weekend, in their hometown of Birmingham, England. It was a very spectacular and emotional show, considering the band has been playing together for 39 years.
  • Styx drummer Todd Sucherman is being sued by a concertgoer, after allegedly throwing a drumstick into the crowd and causing bodily harm to her. The plaintiff is Lori Frederick, and is claiming that she has “lost enjoyment of life” after the incident, and is suing for medical expenses and loss of income.
