ST. CLOUD -- Two people face felony charges after an undercover meth-buying operation in the St. Cloud area.

Court records allege undercover officers bought methamphetamine on several occasions in August and September from 26-year-old Kayla Derosier of Sauk Rapids. Investigators say an undercover drug buy was also conducted with 29-year-old Cory Spiegel of Sartell.

Earlier this week Derosier and Spiegel were seen in a vehicle accepting a backpack from another individual. Officers stopped the vehicle and got a search warrant. Records show police found more than $3,500 in cash, multiple cell phones, paraphernalia and meth.

Investigators say Spiegel admitted to being involved with Derosier selling drugs and detailed how she would get one-ounce packages of meth and divide it up for sale in smaller quantities.

Derosier is charged with four counts of first degree drug sales and two counts of second degree drug sales. Spiegel is charged with first degree drug sales and a count of aiding and abetting second degree drug sales.

Both suspects are due back in court later this month.
