On Sunday, November 11, Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley will show their appreciation for veterans and active servicemen and women by offering them a free meal at the Grand Buffet.

In a press release, Ronda Weizenegger, general manager of Grand Casino Mille Lacs said:

“Veteran’s Day is much more special for everyone here because of our involvement. We are pleased to acknowledge the contributions of our military members and veterans.”

Military personnel will need to show their military or veteran ID card during normal business hours at any Grand Rewards counter. Then they will be awarded a certificate to receive the free buffet (10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. at Grand Casino Mille Lacs and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Grand Casino Hinckley).

Both casinos will serve a brunch in the morning, which will include many breakfast favorites, a full salad bar, assorted dinner entrees, desserts, and more. Then, at 4 p.m., the casinos will serve their Crab Crackin’ Buffet which features Opilio crab, chef-carved prime rib, BBQ ribs, peel-and-eat shrimp, smoked salmon, and full salad and dessert bars.

“Giving back to the men and women who have bravely served our country is the least we can do,” said Mel Towle, general manager for Grand Casino Hinckley. “We look forward to Veterans Day each year.”
