GREAT Theatre Announcing 2025/2026 Season on Monday

WAITE PARK (WJON News) -- We'll soon know what Broadway shows GREAT Theatre is planning to perform next season.

They are hosting their 2025-2026 season announcement on Monday at Back Shed Brewing in Waite Park.

Executive Director Lacey Schirmers says the event also serves as a fundraiser for the non-profit.

It's a fun evening of celebrating the community of GREAT Theatre, the volunteers, the donors, and the season subscribers. And, also raising funds to help bridge the gap of what it costs to creat high-quality theater.

The doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the reveal beginning at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are available on their website, where you can pick--your-price that you want to contribute. Local comedian Jason Schommer will be the guest emcee.

Still to come for this season, GREAT has Steel Magnolias from February 28th through March 16th, Mary Poppins from April 11th through the 27th, and Eurydice from May 9th through the 18th.

GREAT also has its Supercali GREAT Gala scheduled for Saturday, April 26th at The Regency in downtown St. Cloud. That event will include signature cocktails, mocktails, and a seated dinner program before going to the Paramount to watch a performance of Mary Poppins.
