ST. PAUL -- Fleetwood Mac took the Xcel Energy Center by storm Sunday night. Here’s the recap and photo gallery from the show.

From what I’ve heard from fans, it was an absolutely wonderful show. Everyone was on top of their game, seemed like they were having fun and they really rocked the X, playing for two and a half hours.

According to the critic from the Pioneer Press, the show was “secondhand news”, and the band stuck very closely to the set list they had when they visited the Twin Cities in 2009. The review was highly contradictory, because they said themselves that Fleetwood Mac’s songs are some of the “biggest-selling, most widely known of the rock era.” So, what are they supposed to do? Not play them?

The Pioneer Press also said that Stevie’s voice wasn’t very good, but she was nice to look at. Well, thank you very little for that back-handed compliment.

On the other side of the river, the reviewer at Vita.MN, a branch of the Star Tribune said that Lindsey Buckingham was the star of the show and gave, “one of the most impassioned performances ever in a Twin Cities arena, this side of Bruce Springsteen.” And praised Stevie for her vocals on Landslide, Never Going Back Again, Gypsy and Gold Dust Woman.

Were they even at the same show?
