Twins season is finally here, and after what we went through as fans last year, it's great to be able to be back in person at Target Field.  Well, it is only 25% capacity, but still...that is 10,000 fans.  It's a start, at least.

There are some changes that you will notice when attending a game.  First, the tickets will all be digital. So, you will just scan your phone for entry.  You will need to wear a mask at all times unless you are eating or drinking.  You also will not have to empty your pockets when you go through the security check.  But with that said, there will be some changes as to what you will be allowed to bring in to the stadium.

Another thing you will notice immediately is seats zip-tied together.  Seats will be in groups of two or four.  And after every game the entire stadium will be sanitized.

They have a new bag policy.  Basically you can't bring anything in with you... a diaper bag is allowed.  And can be searched.  You are allowed a clutch purse, but it needs to be no bigger than 9x5x2...that's pretty small.  But should be able to contain all of the essentials that you may need during the game.  You can also bring in any medically necessary medications.

The food situation I'm totally ok with... and I think it would be a great thing to continue even after the pandemic.  Here's the deal- they will only have a limited amount of food items (hopefully that part will change later this season) but the cool part is that you order your food from the MLB Ballpark App, then you will recieve a text when your order is ready.  I'm all for that.  You will not see any tap beer or fountain drinks.  Only pre-packaged beverages.

The hope is that later in the season we will be able to have full or near full capacity at Target Field.  But right now. at least baseball is back. GO TWINS!!
