I admit, I am a java junkie. I joke about snorting instant coffee while I wait for the real stuff to brew. WARNING: This is just a joke. Please don't try this at home. A good rule to follow is if Baxter told me to do it, I probably shouldn't.

According to a recent survey, the average worker puts away 2.5 caffeinated drinks a day, every day. These may include coffee, energy drinks, sodas, teas, etc.  That adds up to a dozen or so caffeinated drinks a week. I must admit, I come close to that in a day.

I roll out of bed at 4 AM sharp and the first thing I do it get the coffee brewing. My sleeping habits are a bit weird. I nap 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon and then sleep from 11:30 at night to 4 in the morning. My first thought when I get out of bed is usually "I don't know if I'm going to make t today".  But after some good ol' cup of joe, I'm ready to go.

Also, according to the survey, the average person operates at less than peak 2 days a week because of being tired.

How much caffeine does it the you to get you through the day?
