Why Did We All Love to Watch Bob Ross Paint on PBS?

Bob Ross, the happy little cloud and tree guy. He was so much fun to watch...apparently even soothing.

Science is saying that there is a reason we all thought that Bob Ross' voice was so soothing. And we would (maybe just me) get caught watching marathon's of his show all day on Saturdays.  Channel 2.  Here is the proof.  

I actually kind of miss the quirky little fellow.

Maybe we all need to go to Paint N Party nights here in town and try and get the same relaxation.
