Winter Storm Warning for Heavy Snow
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 3 PM Saturday through 6 AM Sunday morning for areas south & east of St. Cloud. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas north & west of St. Cloud.
From the National Weather Service this afternoon: Very heavy snow is expected to develop this afternoon and continue through the evening hours. Snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are expected at times. Total accumulations of 5 to 8 inches are forecast for the warned areas, with 3 to 5 inches in the advisory area.
