All of 2020 we have had to  put aside everything that has to do with a large gathering  of people. Virtually everything.  We have all been looking forward to 2021  and the possibility of having those events back. This includes festivals, concerts in and outdoors, any bar events, and some other things as well.

Now, Ticketmaster has announced that they are going to be most likely requiring event goers to show that they have had a negative COVID-19 test in order to gain entry into any event.  This would all be managed on your smart phone.

Ticketmaster does want their customers to know that there will be a special app  that would not allow any access to medical records, or the ability to store any medical information from any individual.  This would only be the test results that would be uploaded to show the lab results.  This feature would also eliminate the need for any paper tickets.

This announcement has been made after the news that there will most likely be a vaccine by next year that people will be able to take that will supposedly be 90% effective.

This system would include anything that Ticketmaster produces tickets for, and Live Nation has also come forward saying that they also plan to implement the same sort of system. Most of the events that Live Nation puts on uses Ticketmaster's ticketing service. They say this is the best way to ensure everyone's safety going forward.
