JJ Cale one of the most prolific songwriters there was, he had a way to tell it exactly how it was in lyric and of his life.We said good-bye to JJ Cale in July from a heart attack, he was 73.

According to his official he states, "I never considered myself a singer, I always considered my self a songwriter."

If we go back in time for a minute, the catalyst to his career, as well as; Eric Clapton was Eric's cover of JJ Cale's "After Midnight" from 1970.

In an interview once Eric was asked to name the person he admired most, without thinking twice he said,"JJ Cale."
