An official ruling has come down regarding the cause of death for Peaches Geldof.

A British coroner says that Peaches Geldof's death was indeed "drug related".

Earlier this spring, Peaches was found dead in her home. At the time, no one was speaking about what was found at the scene, but official reports state that Peaches did have heroin in her system and puncture wounds on her arms.

According to the Daily Mail,

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fotheringham, who led the investigation, told the inquest: ‘There is no indication that Peaches intended to take her  own life or harm herself in any way as she was reported to be of happy disposition and planning for the future with friends and family.’

Her mother, Paula Yates died in 2000 of a drug overdose.

Peaches' dad is Boomtown Rats singer Bob Geldof, who also formed Live Aid, worked on Live 8, featuring a reunited Pink Floyd and Bob also starred as Pink in The Wall.

Peaches Geldof was 25.
