DNR Webcam Catches the First Eaglet Hatch of Spring [LIVE VIDEO]

This trumps seeing the first robin as a sign of Spring. Just this morning the DNR Twitter account sent out

"Spring has sprung! And DNR's eaglecam nest has its first eaglet! Two more eggs to hatch…."

As many already know the DNR has streaming video of an eagle's nest, one that they believe is the same pair that made it their home last year.

After a sad turn of the events last year, when the eggs did not hatch, this hatch brings a sense of joy and hopefulness to watchers. Not only that but it also provides hope that there must be a Spring out there waiting for us.
