Jerry Seinfeld Rips on Award Shows (video)

I've always been one of those people that think there are entirely too many of these award shows on TV.  People collecting awards for doing their job. It seems they all get paid huge amounts of money and, for me, that would be enough.

It's almost comical that these movie and TV stars get all dressed up to go and pat each other on the back and feed their egos a bit, or a lot.

Keep in mind that the person writing this has never received an award. I kid on air about maybe winning one of those "doorstops" one day. I guess I did win one trophy at a company golf tournament but I strongly suspect that the scorekeeper for our foursome may have forgotten to mark down a few strokes, most likely quite a few.
