My hair isn't what it used to be which was straight as a board and very long.

At the age of 12 I started letting my hair grow, it was long and straight and down just past my lower back by my senior year in high school. I did cut it for my senior pictures.

After I joined the military, they shaved my head and my hair grew back with curls and waves. It no longer grew back straight which made it hard to grow it long so I wear it short for the most part until...

I tried it with hair extensions which I had braided into my own hair, I also had it corn rowed. That was one way to wear it long. I didn't think it looked to bad. The process took about five hours to do and hurt when it came time to pull my hair to braid.
