Queen is on a list of possible performers at the Olympics next year. What does Paul Rodgers have to say about it?

Paul Rodgers says he's "open" to performing with Queen at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

As I reported in the past, the International Olympic Committee has had some trouble landing acts for the opening and closing ceremonies and the IOC is running out of time.

Rodgers tells Billboard.com that he would consider teaming up with Queen again, especially for such a special occasion. He admits that the band members haven't actually been formally approached for the event, he says that he quite enjoyed their four year partnership and wouldn't mind doing it again.

No acts have been officially announced for the games. The opening ceremonies for the London 2012 Olympic games is July 27.
