There are very few rock bands in the history of rock music that have had as big of an impact on pop culture as KISS. With that eye catching signature face paint and a stage production that costs a small fortune, KISS has been melting faces since the 1970’s.

In a lot of ways, they were The Beatles of their time. Not necessarily musically though. I’ll be the first person to admit that KISS’s songwriting (although not bad by any means) didn’t exactly change the game in the same way that The Beatles, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd did.

But what they did do was show the world just how elaborate, fun, and theatrical a rock concert could be. And because of that, they’re one of the most recognizable bands of all time. Check out this episode of Rock Talk to see what the boys in KISS have been up to lately, and what their future plans are.
