The owners of "Acceleration Baseball Center" are planning to move their business from St. Cloud to Sauk Rapids. Co-owner Gary Posch says they want to build an 18,500 square foot facility in the Industrial Park, just east of Highway 10.
A little bit of Twins history was made in the bottom of the fourth inning when the team pulled off a rare 5-4-3 triple play. Miguel Sano fielded Jefry Marte's ground ball, stepped on the third base bag to retire Albert Pujols, then fired to second baseman Brian Dozier to get Yunel Escobar before Dozier's relay to first to complete the play.
