Ted Nugent is a passionate man, especially when it comes to the Second Amendment.

Ted Nugent went after CNN host Pierz Morgan when it came to the subject of gun ownership and gun control and Pierz was so steadfast against gun ownership, it prompted Ted to ask, "Would you leave the hell alone?"

Pierz met with Ted in Texas at a gun range and the pair sat down to have a frank discussion about the right to bear arms. This frank discussion exploded into an all out war of words between the two when Pierz asked Ted why anyone needs to own an assault rifle. Ted got very defensive saying, "It's a simple inanimate tool that tens of millions of American families own, that have never caused a problem, never had an accident and will never commit a crime." Pierz informed Ted that 100 thousand people are hit by gunfire every year in this country. I would beg to differ that "tens of millions of Americans" own an assault rifle. Guns? Yes. Assault rifles? No.

Ted then accused Pierz of not caring about murder by any method other than guns and said that Pierz was "obsessed with guns" and that:

"99.99% of the gun owners of America are wonderful people that you are hanging around with here today. Perfectly safe. Perfectly harmless. Wonderful, loving, generous, giving, caring people. Would you leave us the hell alone? Go after the nut jobs, go after the murderers, because I don’t know any. An armed society is a polite society."

Ted makes it no secret he is 100 percent against stricter gun laws in this country. "But what about the children?" you ask. Ted is a father of 8 and blames the recent mass shootings on "The moral decay of our society."
