 2. The Vanilla Extract Challenge

Yesterday on the show we ran across a story about a woman who got a DUI after drinking two bottles of vanilla extract.  Each bottle contained 45% alcohol.  Talk about desperation.  Two whole bottles?!  Yuck!  Well, we took the challenge to see if we could even down a single shot.  Watch to see what happened.

3. Are Yearly Physicals Necessary?

According to a recent op-ep in the New York Times by Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, for many people the annual physical exam is "worthless".  He says not having yearly check-ups could save the health care system and patient time, worry and money.  Instead, he notes that periodic screenings tailored to individual patients needs would be better.

4. Drunk Woman at Monster Truck Rally

File this under "Great Moments in Red Neck History".  A broadcaster was getting audio from fans at a monster truck rally and happened across this extremely intoxicated woman and her just as intoxicated ... better half?  We're really not sure which half is the better one to be honest.

 5. How Often Should We be Showering?

Most Americans shower on the daily, but Dermatologist Dr. Ranella Hrisch says we're overbathing.  Showering too often can dry out and irritate skin, and wash away good bacteria.  She suggests taking a shower every two to three days.  So... stay smelly!

6. The Cadbury Egg Debacle

Fans of the iconic cream filled candy eggs in the U.K. have been freaking out over changes to the Cadbury recipe and the number of eggs you get in each package.  Good news, Hershey takes care of Cadbury distribution here in America, so those changes will not affect our precious confections.  We also learned that Numbnutz has NEVER had a Cadbury egg before... EVER?!  What?!
