" Do Ya" was originally the flip side of the single  “California Man." "Do Ya" is definitely a Jeff Lynne signature rocker that would soon re- appear  with processed strings and bombastic guitar.

"Do Ya" is on ELO’s  'New World Record' (1976) an album that would produce  hit single status with "Do Ya."

The Move’s version which is the original is a more rootsier and looser version, however; the voices and instruments do mesh together better than on the ELO version.

The production of this performance puts the power of rock in the front row yet may be just a tad cruder compared to the hyped up technical approach of ELO.

Not much longer we find the birth of The Electric Light Orchestra.
