Every weekday, we take a look at what's happening in Music News.

Check out the headlines HERE:

  • Attention John Lennon fans, looks like our dearly beloved (sarcasm) Yoko Ono is helping produce a new film based on her relationship with the former Beatle. The movie is still untitled, but it looks like it will follow their relationship as well as their anti-war efforts.
  • Styx drummer Todd Sucherman is being sued by a concertgoer, after allegedly throwing a drumstick into the crowd and causing bodily harm to her. The plaintiff is Lori Frederick, and is claiming that she has "lost enjoyment of life" after the incident, and is suing for medical expenses and loss of income.
  • Keep your eyes peeled during the Big Game this Sunday for a new Wendy’s commercial featuring Foreigner! The fast food chain is featuring Foreigner’s classic hit “Cold as Ice” in regards to their competition using frozen meat.
  • Also announced recently, Alice Cooper and Deep Purple are going on tour together this year with Edgar Winter Group. They have 19 shows lined up for North America, but nothing has been announced for Minnesota yet.
