So- I didn't do so well for Valentine's Day.  You may notice that it hasn't happened yet, but my husband will not be home for Valentine's Day so we went out to dinner last night. Maybe not this exact meal... it was nicer than this... but you get the idea.

It was nice.  And done.

So I thought.

I got home and there was a vase of flowers and a nice card.  A really nice card.  I felt horrible.  I didn't do that.  I thought we weren't doing that.  We had a nice dinner, wine and even dessert and I thought that was it.  WRONG!

Now I feel like a heel.  So- the question is... Valentine's Day, yes or no?

I came back here and found one of my co-workers in the same boat.  At least I'm not alone.

There was an article on this very subject... what do you think?

Is Valentine's Day overrated as a whole when you are not a "new love" couple or is it something that is a neat, loving tradition that should be observed every year?
