Waite Park Family Fun Fest Events for Saturday, June 9

Another full day of events start Saturday morning at 8 with a 1k/5K run/walk in Quarry Park. Registration begins Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Meet at Discovery School for the 1K Junior fun run/walk. There is a $5 registration fee. 5K Race will start after 1K. Prizes will be given to prepaid registrants.

The Waite Park Girl Scouts will walk along the parade route early to collect food for the food shelf, with the Grand Parade beginning at 2. Right after the parade, head over to the Community Park for a farmer’s market, Paws for Laws, a K-9 demo from the Waite Park PD starts at 3:30.

Also at Community Park, the fireman's water ball fight starts at 4 and music in the park with the band "Chaser" starts at 6.
