Dear Baxter,

I recently made a long overdue trip to Colorado to visit my 86 year old mother.  I hadn't seen her for a couple of years and was shocked at her new lifestyle.  She now gets medical marijuana delivered to her home.  This shocked me.  She has never even been a drinker or had any vices in her whole life.  She seems so different now.  She's happy, listens to classic rock music and even dresses like a 60s hippie. One night I was awakened at 1 AM by the doorbell.  I went downstairs to see what was going on and my mom had ordered a pizza and was up watching some Cheech and Chong movie.  What can I do?  This has to stop!

Concerned Daughter,

Holy crap!  Your mother is happy at 86?  How horrible!  First of all, leave her alone.  I get the feeling you'd rather she just rot away, waiting to die.  Feel blessed she is happy and enjoying life.  Spare her your negative waves and let her live what's left of her stay on the planet.  Hope this helps.

Signed,

Baxter
