First it was self driving cars that were coming available, now it's self driving semi- trucks.  I'm going to be honest with you... I'm a little nervous about that.  Too much human error with the other cars on the road.  And those trucks are big!

It's like I feel like there always needs to be a driver, pilot, engineer aboard in case something goes wrong.  If you are flying somewhere, the plane is generally in auto-pilot mode for 80-90% of the flight.  BUT the pilot is there in case there is some sort of a malfunction or some thing unexpected happens. I always feel like this is a necessary thing.  Maybe I need to get with the times and realize that this is the way of the future.

I get that things move on and new developments are always being made.  But until the time when EVERY thing is automated on the road, I think there still needs to be a driver.  Too many things that can happen that are unexpected and I'm not sure how the "self driving semi" trucks will react in those situations.
