How Do/Did You Punish Your Kids? [POLL]

One thing about me if I got in trouble at school, then I was in trouble at home too, I kept my nose clean.

There are a variety of ways to punish the naughty child, now depending on the crime, sort of speak; would determine the severity of the punishment.

I had a stepmom that loved using the belt on us, she finally up and left us out of the blue which I can't remember being happier. She had a horrible upbringing which explains a lot.

As kids we've all done something that warranted some type of punishment, how did you as a parent handle that?
