Minneapolis or New York City- Which is More Deadly?
If you guessed Minneapolis, you would be right. Someone put together a map and description of all the major cities in the country and came up with this list according to some specific statistics that define what city is the most deadly according to the murder rate.
I wouldn't have thought that this is the way it would go, but because of the crime/murder rate, that's the way it plays out. And it's pretty sad too.
The thing is, that Minneapolis has just over 9% murder rate. That seems high. It's per 100,000 people. Still seems high. It's not something that we, as Minnesotans should be proud of...at all.
If we made a move for change, what would be the change? What needs to be done to reduce that number?
