Since moving to Minnesota in September, I have developed such a deep appreciation and admiration for the people of this state. How hard most of you work, how you adapt to and embrace the often-difficult weather conditions.

Minnesota residents work hard and play hard. The ways you enjoy the outdoors here, despite the weather. And to enjoy or work efficiently in the outdoors, you need the proper equipment.

If you’re one that has equipment for the outdoors, you’ll need to be aware of this recall. Textron/Arctic Cat has recalled a line of the UTV’s due to a fire risk.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission released the announcement yesterday that Textron Specialized Vehicles recalls the Prowler Pro and Tracker UTV’s. They have an issue with the gas cap.

The release says that the gas cap on these models does not fit correctly, which can cause fuel to leak around the filler neck and could lead to a fire starting.

If you own one of these models, you should stop using the vehicle immediately and contact your local dealer to arrange a time for them to inspect your UTV and fix the problem at no cost to you.

Textron has also recalled the Arctic Cat 2024 Catalyst Snowmobile due to a crash risk. The steering cap which is used to hold the handlebars in place can crack and cause the steering to become unstable which creates a crash hazard.

Owners of these snowmobiles could contact their authorized Arctic Cat dealer for a free repair.

If you have questions about the repairs of either of the above-listed vehicles, get more details here. Or call 1-800-279-2281.
