Ozzy Osbourne Gets His Own Video Game – “Legend Of Ozzy”
Look, there are a lot of incredible singers in the history of rock music – Sammy Hagar, Robert Plant, Ronnie James Dio, Steve Perry, Bruce Dickinson, Maynard James Keenan, Freddie Mercury, and countless others. However, there is only one Prince Of Darkness. That’s right. Ozzy is one of a kind.
He’s a goofy character for sure, but he’s also written and performed some of the most famous and powerful rock anthems of all time. I don’t think that I’ve ever met anyone who didn’t love Ozzy, and quite frankly I don’t want to. I don’t think we could be friends.
He was out on his "No More Tours" tour and came down with a rather serious respiratory infection - so serious in fact that he had to cancel the 16 dates of his tour. That's quite a few shows. Just when he got back to good health, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease that has forced him to cancel all of his 2020 North American tour dates, including his rescheduled date at the Xcel Energy Center on July 3rd.
Although it's been a rough couple of years for the Prince of Darkness, at least he's got this going for him - he officially has his very own video game - "Legend Of Ozzy." It's pretty much what it sounds like - an 8 bit Legend of Zelda homage with the story centered around Ozzy instead of Link. It's pretty amusing. You can play it online right now.
