BURRITO HEAVEN NO MORE?

A local central Minnesota favorite restuarant located in Sauk Rapids; in the bright green building on the corner, Hernandez Burrito, posted a message on their FB page Tuesday evening saying they would be closed next week, March 20th, 2025.

When I first read the message, I thought that maybe they were just closing for maintenance, repairs or maybe updating their facility; but after reading more into the message, it sounds like they may be closing permanently! If that's the case, why?

A HEARTFELT MESSAGE FROM HERNANDEZ BURITTOS

The message went on to say,"If you'd like to join us, we'll be happy to hear that you've had the last few days. Welcome. Thank you so much for your support, and thank you so much for everything."

The question is, is this forever? I can't imagine Hernandez not being in our neighborhood anymore. People are speculating but no one seems to know for sure what is happening. Are they moving to a different location? Is it under new ownership? One fan of Herandez said that the building was sold and that they were looking for another property. Everything at this point is speculation.

FANS ARE SAD

One thing is for sure. If Hernandez Burritos IS closing for good, they will be missed. Just take a look at the comments below.
