The Salvation Army is kicking off their Red Kettle Campaign at MOA.  And this weekend will include performances with the Earth Harp.  And if you are wondering what that is, exactly...

The Earth Harp is in Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s longest playable stringed musical instrument. It rests on the stage while the strings travel over the audience and will attach to Level 2 of the Rotunda, turning the space into an instrument. William Close is a musician who created the famed Earth Harp and will be performing on it. The Earth Harp earned William a finalist slot on the TV show America’s Got Talent.

Performances will take place on Friday, November 22 at 6 p.m. and on Saturday, November 23 at 10 a.m., 1, 3 and 5 p.m.

The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign runs through Christmas Eve, and this year includes digital pay as well as your normal paper and coin donations.
