Every weekday we take a look at what's happening in music news. Check out the headlines for today, here!
- One of my favorite actors is Katey Sagal, and I just found out she was having an on again off again affair with Gene Simmons of Kiss back in the 70's. Katey is known for her roles in Married... With Children, Futurama and Sons of Anarchy - but back in the day she sang backup vocals for lots of famous rockers. What ended the relationship between Sagal and Simmons? Gene laughed at her when she mentioned marriage.
- Over the weekend we lost legendary rocker Chuck Berry - but we found out that Berry had been writing and recording music up until his death. So now, we'll get a brand new album from the late Chuck Berry in June. The album is called Chuck, and hits shelves on June 18th.
- AC/DC promoters Live Nation are getting fined after refusing some AC/DC fans ticket refunds. Back when Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose took over lead vocals, Live Nation promised refunds for anyone who decided to not go to a show because of the change. But after only three days, Live Nation canceled their application process for ticket refunds due to high demands.
- Last week Stevie Nicks said she didn’t see a new Fleetwood Mac album being successful – but now the other former members are firing back. Fleetwood Mac’s members believe a new album would be something special and would sell lots of copies – and could even get awards.
