Every weekday, we take a look at what's happening in Music News.

Check out the headlines HERE:

  • A bunch of Black Sabbath memorabilia from 1968-1973 was set to be put up for auction on September 30th - but that won't be happening anymore, because the Osbourne family has purchased the entire lot!
  • Lots of different classic rock artists were thought to be the Goblin King in Labyrinth other than David Bowie. A new book coming out for the 30th anniversary of the film has the entire list of prospects - including Freddie Mercury, Ted Nugent, Rod Stewart, Roger Daltrey and David Lee Roth. Prince, Michael Jackson, Sting and Mick Jagger were also considered for the roll.
  • Billy Joel has cancelled a concert in Madison Square Garden coming up on the 30th so that he can have endoscopic sinus surgery. Thankfully, he has rescheduled that show for November 21st.
  • A 19 year old in west London was arrested after attempting a terrorist attack with a nail bomb at an Elton John concert on September 11th, at Hyde Park. Authorities say he unsuccessfully hired a bomb maker for 8,000 euros.

I don't care what only says - David Bowie made the perfect Goblin King!
