We've all heard the expression "It scared the crap out of me".  Well according to Popular Science, you can actually get the crap scared out of you, literally.

It seems, when something or someone scares you your body will react with you fight or flight response. After the initial scare, your brain figures out if there is an actual threat or not.

At the same time your heart amps up and glands in your body give you a big boost of adrenaline. Blood vessels in you stomach, intestines, colon, etc start to shrink to reassign resources to other parts of your body.

And, all this commotion in your body can actually make you soil yourself.

I hope we've all learned something today. Have a great and scary Halloween, but not too scary, right?
