Alter Boys Busted Putting Weed in Censer-Burner

Two alter boys in Spain were detained overnight after they got busted putting weed in the censer-burner at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, in Spain.

The censer-burner is used in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela to celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord.. Well, boys will be boys, and their downfall was when two assistants noticed the church had a strange odor during the mass.

“It did not smell as always, it was a familiar smell but I could not relate it to anything.  My son’s bedroom sometimes smells like that”.

The boys were taken into custody after it was determined that is was marijuana they put in the censer-burner. One boy said “It was a joke, the idea came during the Christmas Eve mass. We bought no more than half a kilo of weed and we dropped it inside the censer-burner. We are sure that people had left the Cathedral happier than ever”..

The boys were enentually freed but cannot be alter boys anymore. I guess, they'll have to find another way to bring people closer to God.
