An orchestrated attack on Gene Simmons' computer left him without the Internet for a few days, but there is some good news.

The bad news is that the hacking group "Anonymous" used what's known in tech lingo as a Low Orbit Ion Cannon. It basically sends thousands of requests to a server or website in order to overwhelm it and causes it to melt down rendering the server or website completely useless. In this case, they attacked GeneSimmons.com over the course of five days.

The good news is that the FBI arrested the lead hacker, Kevin Poe (aka spydr101) and if he's convicted on all counts, he could get 15 years in the pokey.

The really good news is that Gene can now go back to surfing porn.
