ST. CLOUD - While Martin Zellar isn't a new face to St. Cloud, he is however new to Summertime by George. Zellar plays with the band Gear Daddies who have played in St. Cloud before, and do a yearly reunion show here.

This is Zellar's first time playing the summer festival, and he says he's looking forward to playing at Lake George. If you are planning on attending his first show you'll hear a mix of Zellar's original music as well as some cover music. Zellar says he tries to keep everyone happy and play a little something for everyone.

A good mix of songs that will hopefully keep everybody happy. We have a blast playing. I just love what I do, and hopefully that translates to people liking the show. We go into it. We have fun, and it usually translates into the crowd having fun, or you hope. Knock on wood.

Playing with the Gear Daddies isn't Zellar's only connection to St. Cloud. He also says his bass player used to play baseball for St. Cloud.

Zellar and his band will be hitting the stage at 6:30 p.m. Starting at 5:00 p.m. Cathie English and Friends will be opening the show. English is a singer and songwriter from Central Minnesota. She is going to be joined on stage by Cristina Seaborn, Joe Meyer, and Randy Mickelburg.

Also tonight you can enjoy the Hot Rod Hoodlums Car Show. You can enjoy the classic cars and talk to the owners at Summertime by George. As always the kids can enjoy the activities at Little Georgetown.
