On March 5, mono vinyl versions of the first two Jimi Hendrix albums, 'Are You Experienced' and 'Axis: Bold as Love' will be released. The news was announced yesterday (Jan. 8) via press release.

One of the most hotly anticipated classic rock releases of 2013 is the the Jimi Hendrix album 'People, Hell & Angels,' which Experience Hendrix is advertising as a collection of 12 new and previously unreleased tracks. But not so fast -- according to our friends over at Antiquiet.com, that may not be entirely accurate.

Hopefully the Jimi Hendrix fan who dropped nearly $380K for a guitar that was allegedly torched on stage in 1967 didn't immediately begin searching for the fire damage. The famous, black Fender Stratocaster was sold at auction this week (Nov. 27) by James Wright, a manager at Hendrix's record label.

Just one day after fans of Jimi Hendrix were given a glimpse at the track-listing of 'People, Hell and Angels' -- a new album scheduled for March 5 -- engineer Eddie Kramer has revealed a sample of some of the sounds the legend was working on before he died in 1970. In a new video he shares a clip of 'Somewhere,' a song Hendrix recorded with Stephen Stills and Buddy Miles.

We're learning more about 'People, Hell & Angels,' the most recent collection of previously unreleased material from Jimi Hendrix that was announced last week. For starters, we have the names of all 12 tracks (listed below) as well as a release date of March 5, 2013.

It hardly seems possible, given how aggressively his vaults have been mined for material over the years, but we can expect yet another album from Jimi Hendrix next year.
