Sports Illustrated writer, and MMQB's Peter King has released his preseason NFL power rankings -- and would you look at who he has at number six on the list; none other than our beloved Minnesota Vikings, but #6 really? Not that I'm disappointed, it just seems a little optimistic (even for me). I hope he's right.

I just heard on the evening news that Adrain Peterson is said to have 'trust issues' with the Minnesota Vikings stemming from the allegations and legal proceedings surrounding the abuse of his then 4-year-old son. Might I suggest fewer whippings?

The NFL announced this afternoon that Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be reinstated effective this Friday -- meaning he will be able to return and fully participate in team activities. Whether he ever wears a Vikings jersey still remains unclear.
