John Densmore won a court battle to keep the other surviving members of the Doors from using the band's name on new projects. Now, he's hoping to win back their friendship with a new book.

This is the end, my only friend -- the end of any prayer that the surviving members of the Doors will ever be able to bury the hatchet and make music together again.

The Doors may be reflecting on the 'Live at the Bowl '68' DVD and live album, but for Robby Krieger it's a little bit bittersweet considering the rift that he and Ray Manzarek have with the band's longtime drummer John Densmore.

In advance of the Oct. 23 release of the 'Live at the Bowl '68,' a clip of the the Doors performing 'Moonlight Drive' has been uploaded to YouTube. The three-minute-plus long video (seen below) shows off the high quality of the 20-song set, remastered for this special DVD and Blu-ray. Even songs thought lost to technical troubles have been restored to give fans the complete concert.
