As heard on the March 4th show:

1. New Size Study Will Make You Feel Better

A new study was conducted that analyzed penis size of more than 15,000 men from 17 different studies.  The key to these numbers is the measuring was done by doctors, not self reported by the men measured.  The average man is 3.6 inches relaxed and 5.2 inches excited.

2. You're Hotter After One Drink

A new study found that people look hotter after one drink, but anymore and the effects are negative.  After that one drink, your face relaxes, your cheeks get a little flushed, your pupils dilate a bit and it makes you better looking to other people.  Once you hit two drinks, it's all down hill and you look sloppy.

3. Most Offensive Smelling Things Eaten at Work

You're sitting at your desk trying to bust through the days work when all of a sudden, you smell it.  Karen is cooking fish in the microwave again and the whole building has to suffer through it.  It wafts through every inch of the building and even seems to flavor anything that's cooked in that same microwave for the remainder of the day.  What are the biggest food offenders at your workplace?

4. Minneapolis on the Monopoly Board

Buzzfeed paired up with Monopoly and are asking people to vote on their home town and cities for inclusion in a new game board that will be called "Here & Now".  Minneapolis is up against some fierce competition including Chicago, Des Moines, and Milwaukee.  Follow the source link below to cast your vote!

5. Why We Shake Hands When We Meet People

We may not bend over and smell each other's butts like dogs do upon meeting, but the handshake may actually be the equivalent.  A new study revealed that after greeting someone new with a handshake, people's face touching increases.  The reason why?  We're smelling our hand.  It's so ingrained in us that most people don't even realize they're doing it.

 6. The Buy Nothing Project

Give, share and build community.  It's the goal of a project called "Buy Nothing" that was started about a year and a half ago by a couple women in Seattle and has since spread all over the world with more than 100,000 members.  How it works is you join or start a local group then post photos of things you don't want anymore and also list things you do need.  You give your items for free and you get other items for free.  No money.  No trades.  Just neighbors helping neighbors get by.  Pretty cool.

7. Our Ancestors Couldn't See Blue

Studies show that language has a lot to do with how we see things like color.  What's interesting is in Greek and other ancient texts, they never talk about the color blue.  Even referencing seeing the sea as "dark wine".  Egyptians were the first to have a word for the color blue in 2500 BC.  Once again, we're talking about seeing or not seeing the color blue.  God damn that stupid dress.
